EDP (Energias de Portugal) is a Portuguese electric utilities company founded in 1976 with the name of Electricidade de Portugal. EDP became the first Iberian company to own significant generating and distribution assets on both sides of the border with a relevant position in the Spanish company HC Energia. EDP is also present in the electricity sectors of Latin America with a major presence in the United States, Brazil, Africa and Macau, in the generation, distribution and trading businesses. 

In this project the main goal was to captivate the young graduate’s attention to better know the EDP while exploring the backstage of a huge company that has much more to offer than only energy. Even now with all the technology present around the world there is no better way to share all about the company than a good talk face to face.

The key visual for this brand activation was inspired by the cartoon talk balloon. In this way the main structure is a talk balloon extrusion and the swing was integrated later with the intention of creating a relaxed atmosphere between the students and the EDP’s promoters.

In order to recruit young graduates a brand activation was developed aimed at specific universities where this stand was present. There were conversations, application forms, challenges, informative flyers, participation gifts and much more for every interested student.
